Before joining the company in 2009, he worked as a research assistant at the Goethe University Frankfurt, with a focus on the corporate finance and risk management of banks and insurance companies. |

After studying electrical engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt, Georg Zimmer worked in R&D at Siemens and in sales at an American company. He then went into business as an R&D engineer. In 1980 he founded ZES ZIMMER and was general manager until 2014. |
