A closed loop, flux gate technology based current transducer for non-intrusive, isolated DC and AC current measurements, developed to offer extreme linearity and full industrial temperature range. The sensor has an aluminium body for shielding against EMI. The PCT sensors provide connection to LMG power analyzers via Plug ’n‘ Measure. This allows for all of the important parameters, such as the precise scaling factor, the delay compensation variable, the last calibration date, and the sensor type, to be read and used automatically by the power analyzer. Moreover, the sensors are actively supplied with power by the LMG power analyzer or its sensor supply unit.

Convenient commissioning with zero risk of misconfiguration
The sensors of our "Plug'n Measure" series are equipped with a bus system, which allows automatic configuration of LMG-series power analyzers. All important parameters, such as the exact scaling factor, the term compensation quantity, the last calibration date and the sensor type, are automatically read by the power meter and included in the measurements. In addition, the sensors' operating power is supplied by LMG or its sensor supply unit, so that in most cases a separate power supply is not necessary. With "Plug'n Measure" mal-adjustment by the user is avoided and the best possible measurement results are guaranteed. Required connection adapters and connection cables for the LMG models can be found in the data sheets.
All ZES ZIMMER power meters of the LMG series, the current sensors of PCT series and the voltage sensors of the HST series are carefully tested, adjusted and calibrated prior to shipment and are subject to strict quality controls. ZES ZIMMER guarantees for a period of 24 months from first delivery that these products are free from defects in material or workmanship.
